Company Overview
Founded in 2006, NewEarth Renewable Energy, Inc is a privately held Seattle-based, renewable energy company
with a proprietary and proven technology that produces two renewable, carbon negative alternatives to fossil fuel simultaneously: biochar (E-Coal), and bio crude oil (E-Oil), drop-in flex fuels or replacements for fossil coal and petroleum. These fossil fuel replacements make dramatic GHG reductions today and can be used in the existing electric power and transportation infrastructure without any retrofits whatsoever. NewEarth’s second biochar product, E-Char, is the highest-grade biochar on the market, used for soil amendments, carbon sequestration and soil erosion prevention. New Earth was voted one of the Top 100 Clean Energy Technologies by the New Energy Congress for its completely sustainable, feedstock-universal, advanced Ecological Pyrolysis-Torrefaction (EPT) technology. Since 2008, NewEarth has secured numerous contracts from global coal-fired electric power utilities, steel companies and petrochemical companies, seeking to reduce their harmful emissions today.

Unique Value
Several factors differentiate NewEarth from other technologies. Unlike basic torrefied wood, which is limited in its purity and energy output, NewEarth’s EPT technology is feedstock-universal and produces two primary clean fuels simultaneously as well as the high-grade biochar product, E-Char. Over 300 different types of biomass feedstock are possibilities for use in NewEarth’s EPT technology, making localized use of feedstocks key in global deployment and sustainability. No feedstock is food-based, competes for agricultural land or threatens ecosystems. More importantly, NewEarth grows and manages its own energy crops and feedstock, ensuring a secure, costcompetitive and available source of feedstock at all deployments, limiting the need for long-distance shipping
of product or feedstock.

Product Offerings
NewEarth produces two fuels and three products simultaneously through the EPT process: biochar (trade names, E-Coal and E-Char) and bio crude oil (trade name E-Oil). Both E-Coal and E-Oil are sustainably produced, drop-in replacement fuels, are carbon negative and produce the same or greater energy value as fossil coal and petroleum without the pollution side effects. E-Oil is superior to other biofuels as it’s pollutant-free, water-free and has the highest usable energy value. The potential of biochar is proving to be enormous for soil recovery, increased crop yields, soil erosion prevention and for carbon sequestration from the atmosphere.
